A bit about myself…
I am Poojasri Ranganathan from Harur, India with a Bachelor's in Fashion Technology currently living in Snohomish, WA, USA.
When I came to the US, I was constantly bored, depressed, and clueless about my life. I knew the only thing that I could legally do here is study. After a lot of research, I zeroed in on something I liked. I thought “Makeup, why not? Makeup and fashion are like sisters right!". I enrolled myself in a 7 month, 5 days a week, 10 am - 5 pm program at the Tint school of makeup and Cosmetology, Seattle. It was a huge task to learn from scratch and work with people from various cultural backgrounds and ethnicity. What started as a hobby, made me realize my passion for makeup and groomed me to start earning as a professional. I am an internationally certified Makeup artist and Hairstylist with a registered business with the state of Washington. I am my own boss. I have done makeup for runway events, fashion shows, magazine shoots, YouTube video shoots, weddings, etc. I have been published on the cover of an international magazine “Edith” and featured on 5+ international publications. I also have my own online personal grooming classes to educate people to do their own makeup. At the end of the day, the joy that I see on my client's face by helping them see the best version of themselves is really satisfying. When I look back at myself from a year ago, I see the growth from believing in myself.
You can do anything and everything, all that matters is you have to try first.
